Maintaining your roof drainage systems
All rainwater systems need a level of maintenance, with the primary aim to ensure that the system installed can continually meet the level of the design capacity. All that needs to be considered is ensuring the optimum flow of rainwater into and through the system.
Maintenance Checklist:
- Clear debris from the gutter, roofs, etc. to avoid further nuisance to the building operations
- Clear away any build-up around the leaf guards’ outlet top cover
- Check that all leaf guards’ outlet top covers are correctly located in position.
- Check for the localized blockage to pipework at the outlet location, and clear by a professional if required
- Internal visual inspections should also be carried out, to ensure that no damage has been caused to the pipe work system or support brackets. If observed need to call us to fix the same on priority.
